Paper Tape Presents: Chris Inperspective Selects — a celebration of one of underground Jungle and Drum & Bass’ most uncompromising voices. As founder of Inperspective Records and curator of the legendary Technicality nights, Chris Inperspective has spent over three decades pushing progressive, experimental sounds beyond the boundaries of convention. Since launching Inperspective in 1997, he has championed a formidable roster of artists including Equinox, ASC, Senses, Earl Grey, Phuture T, Fracture, Neptune, Breakage, Future Engineers, Macc, dgoHn, Pieter K, Profane, and Will Miles, defining a sound rooted in depth, rhythm, and innovation.
Beyond the label, Chris has been instrumental in shaping culture through initiatives such as the Black Junglist Alliance and by co-founding Clashmouth, the UK’s first Jungle-focused vinyl market. His career spans a long-running residency on Hoxton FM, tenures with Hospital Records and A&R work for the legendary R&S Records, plus appearances at major festivals including Boomtown, Wireless, and Membrain Festival.
Now based in the Netherlands, Chris continues to take the Inperspective and Technicality ethos across Europe, playing nights such as Atlantis, Breakout dNB, Ritual, and Cheeky Monday, while working closely with Footsteppa, Stupid Amsterdam, and The Timekeepers Agency, and hosting his long-running podcast Everybody Hates Chris. C.O.N.E. (Footsteppa) is a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer specializing in drum & bass and jungle. Known for high-energy, groove-driven sets, he is closely affiliated with Footsteppa, a central platform in Rotterdam for underground bass and breakbeat culture. He has performed at key local venues and creative spaces including Export and MONO as well as appearing on Operator Radio. further cementing his role in the city’s electronic music scene.

Phuture-T is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer rooted in jungle and atmospheric drum & bass, known for intricate breakbeats, deep basslines and forward-thinking energy. A long-standing staple of Inperspective Records, he’s best known for releases such as Persuasive Funk and Fugitive Drummer, and has performed across Europe, including Paper Tape, Technicality nights in London, and Jungle Syndicate in Bristol.
