Amsterdam collective WP Frequencies are bringing together a squad of accomplice DJs to a night of deep pulsating bass-oriented music. An audiovisual trip mythologising dystopian futures and sonifying digital paranoia.

Caldera
Since 2012, Malte Schumann, aka Caldera, has been producing and perfecting his own brand of percussive, bass- and dub-tinged contemporary techno. His approach to DJing echoes the same care and consideration as his productions. His sets connect heads-down techno with left-of-centre
percussive selections, and hypnotic slow-burn dub and club energy. Between his detail oriented and narrative driven mentality his sets move fluidly between tempos, moods and genres with ease. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, Caldera continues to refine his vision of forward-
thinking rhythm focused music making, building a cohesive world of sound that is unmistakably his own. In recent years, Caldera has released on labels including Berlin’s Nummer Music, Marseille’s Melifera Records, London’s Space Lab and Well Street Records, Bristol-based Pressure Dome,
and Chicago’s Kimochi Sound, across multiple monikers including Loop LF.

Youknow
A prolific member of WP Frequencies, Youknow weaves emotions into layered rhythm and tells stories across genres. Always curious and in motion, her sets invite listeners into a shared moment of connection. Her environment and the state of the world deeply influence the preparation of her mixes, shaping the emotional landscape and narrative of each set. Sometimes, music inspires her to write poems, creating a dialogue between sound and words.

Waveguide
Resident and co-founder of Paris-based collective Krema, Waveguide explores styles with freedom, guided by a natural attraction to psychedelic soundscapes. His selections move from slow to fast, evolving through progressive basslines and hypnotic textures, capturing the listener layer by layer. Under the influence of the eclectic vibe of Salon des Amateurs, his style still resonates today with that singular energy. For this party, he will join for a final B2B with YouKnow, dissolving into trancy, bass-driven soundscapes.

dj.naif
dj.naif traverses time and genres clinging to the dub thread like his life depended on it. Lush textures, deep pads, hypnotic layering, psychedelic twinges in temporally crisp yet mentally unresolved soundscapes, slow if you only count the 4th, the kind of music you'd add to your "for home listening" playlist but end up blasting on the biggest soundsystem you can imagine. Before WP Frequencies, he co-founded the Paris-based all we need is acid collective, then moved on to organizing Activités en Forêt, a series of raves in the Amsterdam woods which has been running for close to 8 years now. Promotes accessible parties for the many and hates anything labelled "exclusive".

Rnkic
Rnkic is a mysterious entity of mind bending and body shaking sounds, one half of the Paris-based duo Sorok Pervyï. She is joining dj.naif for a sound selection that is bound to stir the soul and heighten the awareness.

TheKnowDough
Under this moniker, WP Frequencies co-founder and resident Boyan Mihaylov aka fin augments the auditory experience of the DJ sets by minimalist generative visuals, aiming for a twisted spectacle before the dark void of the dancefloor.
