An upcoming in-person workshop series on grief and peatlands will take place at OT301 in Amsterdam during the weekends of November 30 December 1 and December 7–8.
Peatlands are bodies of decay that have been subjected to extractivist-colonialist violence. Grieving the loss of their liveliness and how that impacts us and generations to come will open up space for all kinds of grief that might be present with us, from socio-political to environmental and personal. By moving through and tending to our grievances, we can reconnect to what we love, act in favour of it and create empowered communities.
The series will be hosted by members of the RE-PEAT collective: Frankie Turk, Lara-Lane Plambeck, and Holly Bartley.
The workshops are free, but registration is required.
